Dr. Jurasek and his team have been dedicated to improving your oral health and helping you with your dental problems since 1994. Our team strives to provide you with multiple options on maintaining your teeth and to allow you to make the most informed decisions about your oral health.
What To Expect
Our first priority with any new patient is to make sure they are comfortable and not experiencing any dental emergencies. If you are experiencing extreme pain or need immediate treatment, our team will do their best to fit you into our schedule as soon as possible. If you are not experiencing any dental emergencies, a new patient exam consists of an hour appointment where we do the following:
Meet The Dentist:
First, you will be introduced to our amazing staff members and Dr. Jurasek. We will sit down with you and discuss your needs and reasons for visiting the dentist.
Take Radiographs and Intraoral Scans:
Radiographs, or X-Rays, are a vital tool that all dentists use. They help us determine the health and integrity of your teeth. Most importantly, they provide us with the knowledge needed to help you save and treat your teeth. With most new patient exams, radiographs are taken of all your teeth so that Dr. Jurasek can diagnose any problems the day of your visit. If you have recently had X-Rays taken at another dental office, we can obtain them at your request. With adult complete examinations, our office uses iTero technology. iTero is an advanced computer scanner that uses natural light to produce a 3D image of your teeth. This scan can be used to diagnose dental problems and to keep a record of your oral dentition.
Examine Your Oral Health:
After radiographs are taken, Dr. Jurasek will examine all of your teeth, your soft oral tissue, head and neck, jaw joint and record previous dental treatments while creating a custom treatment plan tailored to your needs. Dr. Jurasek will always provide you with all the different ways you can improve your oral health.
